Thank you for stating that union and non union can both have bad workers. What's disturbing is that if a union worker gets laid off or the union can't provide full time work, the worker is penalized for trying to make a living in his chosen field working for a non union company. Sometimes there are very harsh fines and he can even be banned from going back to the union. The union shouldn't control a persons livelihood if the work in the union is slow.
