Having worked for an equipment rental company a couple of years I can understand why not. Most people are not bad; but even 1 in 10 can do enough damage to totally absorb the rental money from 10 people. Just as an example... One person rented a post hole digger, Max HP 50. Claimed he was going to use a JD 2150. The boss passed by the place, & saw it on a CIH magnum (130+hp). He stopped & conficated it immediately, didnt refund the money, & told him never to come in the store again! Thats just one example, I know many more! By the way the auger broke 2 rentals later on a AC WD45. Boss said I know that didnt brake it!!!
