Why is gas so high ? State tax"s ? In early October we went to Missouri and Arkansas Gas was $3.86 in Wisconsin when we left. Most places in Iowa, not trapping the tourests near the interstates, was about $3.76, Missouri was $3.57, and Arkansas was $3.55. I filled up Saturday, at Winona Minnesota at $3.33, and Wisconsin is now $3.43 ! What is Missouri and Arkansas today? Gas prices are now going down, but I feel that the difference between states is due to state fuel tax"s. Wisconsin"s fuel tax is supposed to be amung the nations highest!
