I guess your kid can't invite too many friends over for birthday parties and such, that is if he has any friends. Then you wonder why your kid is never at home and don't have a clue who or where they are hanging out. The kid ends up resenting you and doesn't tell you anything for fear you won't approve. And you wonder what went wrong...You have to trust your kids judgement until they give you a reason not to. If you don't, the problem is yours not the kids.
