Thieves have no respect for age. We experience that first hand here in AZ, where you have to have your wits about you or the crooks will rob you blind. The scams that they try to pull will leave you broke if you let them get to you.
I'm amazed at how careless some people are right here in our own neighborhood - - they buy a new TV or appliance and then set the carton out of the curb to tell the whole world what they have in their house. I always cut up the cartons and put them in the recycle dumpster out of sight. Very few people know what we have in our house because we don't show it to the world.
