Thursday, James was mowing close to the road. Our Basset hound, Bentley, went with him as usual. James noticed a car on the side of the road with its flashers on and another one apparently that had stopped to help.
When he got done mowing and headed back to the house, he didn't see Bentley. Bentley wasn't at the house either.
James got in the truck and drove along the road to see if Bentley had been hit. No Bentley.
Bentley was a very friendly dog. We think he went to investigate and those people took him.
