David, I just purchased a digital one from ebay for $11. Don't know how well it will work. It says all I need to do is put a wire around the spark plug wire and it will give me both the RPM's and hours. This meter is for motorcycles. Don't know why it won't work for my Farmall. I'll post back once I get it and if it works for what I want. George
