On the subject of the more things change,the more they stay the same. Wherther a person thinks the contents of the Bible are devine or simply just very old writings,everyone agrees it was written several centuries ago. If you read it as simply a historical account,you will quickly see that mankind was driven by greed for money and power over his neighbors,lust for what isn't his,decietful acts commited in order to sock-it-to others about as is the case today. So as I see it,humans have always known right from wrong and talked about how to make a better world but always find a way to justify thier own questionable actions if it farthurs thier cause.
