Divived equally really doesn't mean anything. Grandfather in law left everything to his kids this way. One son wanted just money, daughter wanted land and money (a third of cash and property), and final sister (executor) wanted all land. Executor had it twisted in law office was gonna get all land to herself, until someone outside the family offered too much money to the executor. Poof family farm sold and my mother in law just wanted to keep a third of her parents farm. Now its gone forever.
