Just reading about wood pellet baskets - basically, a basket that goes in your conventional woodstove to hold pellets for burning. Anyone use them? Comments?
I'm working away from home now and my time is limited to cut/split/lug wood for the stove. And I'd like to make it easier for my wife while I'm not there. That may make it worth buying a ton or two of pellets.
I know wood is the cheapest fuel, esp. since I have wood to cut and my own splitter, but sometimes other factors must be considered. For example, I also think wood pellets would burn a lot cleaner in my wood stove. And easier on the wife, like I said.
Severla videos on youtube showing them in operation, but not a lot of actual info. Is it a scam? The only comment I saw about burn time said a basketfull will burn for approx. 3 hours. Of course, how hard a burn?
