Best I can tell Mopar +4 is at least syn blend. I had an '05 and it said +3 and the 07 said +4. I was curious and looking around I found one of the major brands of oil that was recommended for Dodge among others and It said on the container that it was either syn or blend so I assumed the +4 was just that. Recalling more, I think the practice of draining fluid under normal service was removed from the manual as was my '11 Chev which I know uses syn. Also they started using it in the differentials also.
About time Detroit came into the real world.
