Just catching up on posts after a hosp stay. You get lots of time to think about things in the hosp. Hadn't seen one of my grandsons in a while. He lost his good job with GasCo's when they moved out, so he took a much less paying job in a local factory shoveling ashes away from a hot boiler. His wife is a nurseaid. Came to visit ole granpa draggin'azz tired after his shift. Now, I suspected he was head & shoulders above his stepbrother but now there is no doubt. He'd lost weight and showed me the callouses on his hands. Granpa, "I've sold my truck (Ford Diesel 250, his pride & joy) and wheeler! We're trying to get a down payment together to get moved away from his MIL. Got almost all but 2thousand". Fritzenfracken tissue box is always on the wrong side of the room in a hosp. Ennyway, had the wife bring my wallet back to the hosp and cleaned out my tractorfund and, with my other daughter we put together an envelope designated for the down payment. His mother bawled when she took it and said he did too, when he got it. Closing date is set. There IS hope! One MAKES a good part of it by their decisions and sometimes fate or luck or the good Lord fills in the rest.
