we have had a family near me that had a son unloading a chopper wagon into a bunk when the feeder tines on top caught on something.He reached up to unjam them and ended up going through the auger and passing away. we also have a 80ish gentleman that has gotten loose clothing caught in his pto 2 times in the last 20 yrs. the last time it stripped him to a waistband of undies and a work boot. He now has issues with a hip but other than that has been very lucky. Another young man 50ish was picking corn when he got his arm caught triing to un plug it. Ripped arm right off at the shoulder. He put his belt on the stub to stop the bleeding walked 1/4 mile to the house for the phone to call 911. then jumped in his truck and went back to the feild to get his arm to they could try to reattatch it. It didnt work. these accidents have all taken place in the isabella county area in the last 20 yrs.Lots more that I dont connect with but these I have connections too.
