I have heard the same thing, the trouble is I was patching tractor tires while I was in grade school. Buy glue, tire patches and cleaner from the same place and do it yourself. The biggest and oldest tire shop in town wouldn t put a boot in my rear tire. They said it would never hold air, it has been up for a year now, biggest boot I could find, but it is holding.
