I run a chopper for a guy and he has a 7700 and 7850 j.d choppers with the j.d. kemper heads. 1 is a 10 row 30" on the 7850 and a 8 row 30" on the 7700. They are great cutting across the ends and if you wonder a little you don't have to worry about leaning rows. I really like them in drilled cane. The only drawback is if you have down crops. They don't do anything but plug. The head can't get under it and it pushes the crop.
