I hear that. There are times I have felt that the "thugs" hanging around do "nothing" might just be armed. They sure do not have a CCP. All I can do is bluff, stick my hand in jacket under left arm pit and act like I just undid the clasp on a shoulder holster. Look them in the eye with that "Do you feel Lucky, Punk?" look and strut on by.
Would like to get some home defense gun but do not feel comfortable with 3 teenage boys in the house. Sometimes they are so dam impulsive and irrational. Probably will once they are all grown and out of the house. But that will be years!
