Deere doesnt seem to be the same company they were 30 years ago and it bugs me some when I have a part number and my JD lawn equipment dealer (who is much closer) is blocked from ordering it but I have to roll my eyes when someone posts on here that Fiat group prices are half of Deere or they can get any part for a 40 year old Agco group tractor. Sure isnt that way in my neck of the woods.
