Go down to 6th street & check out all the live music down there. Not sure if you"d have time to squeeze it in, but you can attend Austin City Limit tapings if you are lucky.
The Oasis restaurant out on Lake Travis is quite famous locally with a killer view while you eat.
There are a ton of great places to eat all around the UT campus. Taj Palace has great Indian food. Players is a student hangout on MLK with great milk shakes. There were a lot of great Oriental mom & pop places along Lamar...
I never did see much "tractor" stuff while I lived down there, but that was when I was a student at UT and before I got the old-iron bug real bad... And you may not have time for tractors, anyway, with as much great music as there is down there...
