I can't comment on Taurus as I've never used one. I'm not impressed with Ruger and would never buy another. I had a couple of Mini-14's that were only good for 6" groups at 100 yards. Then I had a 10/22 that jamb so often I could never depend on it. I had a gunsmith work on it and it work for a while and then start jamming again.
