Seen a one hour special on bison on rfdtv. It has me thinking of trying to raise them. The current price for yearling bulls is 3.00lb and heifers 2.70to2.90lb.. This is double what my beefers go for. I knowit will cost a lot to start a herd but I dont see this as a fad like ostrich, emu,alpaca.. What does everyone think? bison looks more profitable..i think my beefers are going down the road. I guess bison also eat 1/3rd less feed also.I have all the tools powder river handling system and 5 foot woven wire with a astrand of barb wire on top and hot wire in middle
