I will be the first to admit that I'm no expert on refrigeration. That being said, If you have the owners manual for the 'fridge, it may have an exploded view of the parts. Are you sure the defroster is working? Had a similar problem with mine a few years ago and found the defroster element was burned out. Replaced it and it still would not drain. That's when I found ice in the drain line. Just some thoughts, and good luck.
