I heard one a few years back where the Michigan DNR was threatening a property owner for an Illegal dam located on his property. It got to the point the DNR was threatening to arrest the landowner and seize the property because of illegal retention and diversion of surface waters. The problem was the landowner wasn't doing it and his reply had words to the extent that if you don't like the beaver dam serve your paper work on the dam beavers 'cause they won't listen to me.
