Well since you asked a similar question down a bit here is what I found out over the years of baling hay. As I said down there I have an Oliver 77 that I tried to bale with. I also have a Ford 841. The Oliver 77 is around 38HP the Fordson Major is around 38HP and the Ford 841 around 45HP as per the Neb test list. I found that hand down no matter what or where the Oliver 77 will pull circle around my 841 and my 841 I also know has a newer engine then the Oliver does I.E. engine was rebuilt on the ford in the mid 80s the Oliver been a lot longer ago then that
