Just had a house wren trying to build a nest in SWMBO's clothespin bag, ao I made a wren box and screwed it onto the cornerpost of the clothesline. SWMBO had just cleaned out the bag for the second time in two days, and this time closed it up tight with clothespins. Poor bird had a fit until he found the nest box a couple of feet away. Now, he's busy as hail filling it with sticks and seems happy. I just threw two racks of ribs on the grill and have some of the first sweet corn we've picked ready for the microwave. AH, summer holidays---
