Always bought VW golfs cheap and ran them til repairs would cost more that replacing with another til the situation called for something a little taller with 4wd. Got my Kia a little over 3 years ago and was doin good til the wiring harness from/to the ECM shorted/burned. Wife has a vehicle to pull the horse trailer and I have the quad and a tractor so figured I'd just look for another VW with a trailer hitch for a DD and small pickups with a trailer... Saw one setting on a lot close to home and stopped to ask. Folks said they make more money shipping and selling them in Africa than selling local... Hard to believe... Guess the days of 300 buck cars are gone :roll:
