We have some real nut jobs running our township. Hopefully that is about to end. The FBI raided the Township office about 3 months ago.
I can't wait to see what happens next. Ya Hoo!
I had a couple of political signs in my yard last year and they kept getting vandalized. I set up a game camera and the vandalism stopped. Then I got a call from the zoning officer that I needed a $30 permit to have the signs on my own property. I did a little research and found that the U.S. Supreme court ruled that signs on your own property are protected under Freedom of Speach. No permit is needed and there can be no fee. I informed the zoning officer of this and he told me well yes you have the right to put the sign in your yard, However we have an ordinance and you have to have a permit. He then told me he was going to cite me. I called the Township Solicitor, left a voice mail telling him where to shove his ordinance and he never called me back. I think I know who was vandalizing my signs.

Lets examine the purpose and design of these fasteners in order to ensure their proper use. Fasteners are probably one of the aspects of mechanics that is given the least amount of thought.
