That problem is why I hate 6 volt batteries !! How old are they ? I could never get them to last very long either. our crawler they would not work right after 3 years. It was a hard starter. I could get a few more years out of them after that in another machine. Very seldom did I ever get any that stayed dry and didn't corrode everything up or last. I figured the 12 volts got upgraded vents and cases but the 6 volts didn't because of the low volume made ? Optima makes a 6 volt but I am too cheap to buy one for now.
