"nut grass" isn't a grass at all, but a sedge. it is by far the most troublesome weed that i deal with in the vegetables. herbicides that i know of that will control it are
i've read that eptam (eptc) and sutan will also work, but never used them.
roundup will burn it back, but it will probably regrow. repeated applications?
i've seen 2,4-d make it look pretty sickly, not sure how reliable control would be with that.
i assume zosia is the lawn grass? never heard of it... but all these chemicals except the 2,4-d would put a hurtin on the lawn.
nutsedge's biggest weakness is that it doesn't compete well. so the best answer in a crop situation is a healthy, vigorous crop. nutsedge tends to be the weed that is the biggest problem when the easy to control weeds are killed and the crop hasn't shaded it out yet.
in a lawn... how about just keep mowing it like normal and let it be? it's green after all...
