Thanks for all the advice. I think I'll either forget the spray or get the hoe for the worst. This is field corn, not RR. I'm actually amazed at how well it is growing considering we've had so little rain. A guy down the road's corn looks a little taller but he also has a large pivot. Winter plans: study up on pre-emergents and RR corn. A grain elevator north of me sells small quantities for guys planting plots. I think a few places are missing out on some sales by not offering products to food plotters. It would help pay a bit of the overhead. I've bought millet, peas, cowpeas, clovers, sorghum, buckwheat and corn.
