I'm with RodInNS, for the amount of corn you have planted use a hoe. Hoe it once or possibly twice and you should be fine - especially when the weeds are just starting. Dad made the hoe my best friend when younger.
Think of it as helping the economy and hire someone for a few days. The fed's are really looking for any sign of hiring thay can - you added a job and could make the news - LOL.
