Since I have become very cynical in my older age, I would bet this picture was staged (there"s no one else in sight). HOWEVER, while the majority of the public and the other shoppers at that store would have a problem with it, I do not.
Frankly, if a woman (or anyone) is going to carry a pistol for protection, the best place is on the hip. If its in her purse, which could be snatched, it takes considerably longer to get to it if she needs it.
I have considered getting a permit because I do a lot of traveling by myself, but I"m not at that point yet.
