As you said, it's doing things together that makes it a treasure. My wife always enjoyed picking up parts when I was working on one of our vehicles. When I was working at an auto dealership, we were allowed to work on our own vehicles after hours. One night my younger daughter had her Mustang in the shop and was installing new brake pads. The boss walked through, stopped and watched her for a minute, and when he walked off I heard him mumble under his breath, "well,Ibedam!" My eldest daughter majored in business, but married a guy with a few acres and learned to handle machinery quite well. When he decided to take a hike, she ended up with the place and bought her own tractor and equipment and maintains it very well. Occasionally I will answer the phone and hear, Dadeee, I need a little help! But she's gettin' there.
