I'm always intrigued by old cemetaries. Any names you recognize on the stones? I have gone through several old ones in my area, and have been surprised that there are very few family names that are still in the area. I get the feeling that there was a lot of moving around in the pioneer days, especially in areas like ours, that had few legitimate farming opportunities. Lots of single guys, I think, trying to "get rich quick" by filing for a Donation Land Claim, and when that turned out to be too much work to "prove up", they moved on.
