I have and have had several and all were good machines. I have 5 now besides my tractor mowers. My most used (favorite) one I have now is the 44" Hustler with 18 Honda. I put bar lug tires on it and another for mowing pool (pond) banks.
Two things that you probably want to consider:
Operator comfort, both in ride comfort and position of control levers. I put cushions on my Hustler, but the tilt of the seat and location of the levers is perfect. I like the deck where you put your feed. It's large enough to put a pump up sprayer and go around and spot spray, or use it as a truck and transport things....trash bags to the trash can, tools from the shop to the house for doing a "honey do".
Second thing my Hustler doesn't have but will be on the next mower I purchase and that's a tilt up deck for cleaning.....my biggest problem with any mower. In the spring, when the grass is wet, it is a real pain. Once things dry out later on in the season it doesn't matter all that much....course tilt up means removing and servicing/replacing the blades is a no brainer and saves you having to hook the machine up to a hoist to get at the underside.
