I live by a creek and when it storms and the water gets up high enough to go over the bridge we have gates across the road at either end to close the road. One guy tired to drive around the gates to cross the deep water in his car and ended up stuck in the ditch. Asked me to come pull him out with my 4x4. I let him do the hooking and call the plan. When his car came up out of the ditch it went sideways and drug the side of his car on the gate post and tore it up. You know that idiot had the nerve to blame it on me? I then merely pointed out that he was the dumba$$ who went into the ditch, not me.
