I have pulled apart 6 frozen H motors and also took the manifold off the head on my H when I did a head gasket on it a couple of years ago. I have never broken a stud yet while removing the manifold nuts. I have broken one or two when trying to remove the studs from the head, but you can leave them unless they are really badly deteriorated. Zach
