My dad has a pacemaker. Being around a running engine is not a problem, just can't lean over and get the pacemaker near the generator. Want to avoid getting shocked by a plug wire. Dr. said for him not to run a chain saw due to the possibility of the saw getting too close to the pacemaker. Also told him no arc welding. Took him about a year to get everything lined out, but now he is going stronger than ever at the ripe old age of 71. He bought an electric chainsaw and takes it and a generator in the bucket of the tractor to cut wood. He has gotten very good at gas welding. Any restriction the doc put on him, he has found a way to work around it.
