As far as I know.... they are built by International. The engines are 'built' by International.... BUT the bottom guts of the engines are perhaps best said to be of Caterpillar lineage. IH has added the fuel and emission systems or something along those lines. The creation of the 'Cat' truck was announced a roughly the same time as Cat announced their 'exit' from the highway engine market. The silly trucks look like the last 'Topkick' trucks.... on steroids. I can't really see them being a big seller if they carry a 'Cat' price tag.
