I basically agree with the 1/2 price of new approach, but sometimes the only NEW parts are aftermarket, imported, and of questionable quality and fit, which, in my opinion makes a USED, original part, in excellent condition, as valuable, or even MORE valuable than the new stuff, and if you have a used part that is no longer available, aftermarket or otherwise, then the sky is the limit.
