Well, thats interesting, between Cherokee and Clarion, you"ll see some of the straightest road in Iowa/the U.S./The world. And if the corn is up you"ll see nothing but walls of corn blocking any other view for many, many miles. There are very few farms, or houses, and if you break down you"d better have a cell phone, and know where you are, as you are litterly "Miles from nowhere" Mom and Pop cafe"s are few, but most every town has a Root Beer stand,with soft serve ice cream, and hot dogs. Over the fourth of July weekend, the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield, Illinois, was the site of the Old Gold National Antique Tractor Show.
