Ray, I typically plant Blue and Norway spruce and Maples. Those are what most people want. Spruce to block out neighbors and varieties of maples for fall color.
I like to plant 2000 a year. I am going to try to organize all my pictures and post tem sometime. The largest planter will cut roughly a 12in wide by 30in deep trough. Looks very similar to a V-ditcher. I can easily plant 8 foot whips with this planter.
