Just planted 5 acres of alfalfa with oats.Used 300 #, of 19-19-19 fertilizer, 100# oats and 30# alfalfa per acre . 15# per acre recommended,but I doubled that rate because of the heavy soil and about 10% of the seed probably wont germanate.Maybe not right, but thats how I did it! LOL! Doug
