Larry your memory is still good. The Auction is still in the same place in Hackettstown On Tuesdays I think. The John Deere dealer was DonCheske and sons. They sold out to The Mackervinch brothers in the late 80ies. Then I do not know all the details but I think JD pulled the franchise on them in the mid 90ies. It has been a wile since I have been to that town but I think NAPA now sells John deer lawn mowers.
