I think they're made out of X10 steel which is generally formed cold as heating would damage it's properties. If you knew someone with a big press that would be the way to straighten it. A friend of mine used to work at a giant machine shop before it closed it's doors and all the machinery was auctioned off. They had a 600 ton press there that would have straightened that out easy.
