If you have a 1994 long bed you should have a 34 gallon tank.
Most vehicles have fuel tanks large enough to give at least 400 highway miles from full tank. That gives you an idea of the fuel milage. My 1994 K1500 4WD gets 12 to maybe 15 MPG. I had an '86 Ford F-150 with two 18 gallon tanks.
