Not true! It is illeagal to shoot certain animals reguardless of what they are doing. Go shoot a timber wolf thats eating a calf or bald eagal thats taking your chickens and then call DNR.
Few years back a guy here in Mn had a large deer herd eating up his silage in a bunker. He wanted a permit to kill em. Mn DNR instead gave him fencing material to keep the deer out.
It isn't very smart posting on an open forum that you may be thinking about doing something illeagal.
