You can click the box where it says hide email address so they can't contact you that way. I never leave my email as you just get scammers and spammers. I leave my phone # instead but I write it like 612 555 one two four eight so the bots can't so easily get that either. What gripes me about Clist is those blasted keywords. Like a guy is selling some part - say a hood for an Allis B and uses all kinds of keywords like Farmall, Chevy, Ford, Massey, John Deere, etc. If the item he's selling is not related to his keywords I always flag those ads. Clist is great though. I just picked up a matched set of four 8 bolt Chevy rims, tires, hub caps and lug nuts yesterday for a trailer project I'm working on. Cheap. He was happy, I was happy.
