The mayor of the next city over has had a "checkered" second term including a fist fight/shove feast with one of the city's alder persons at city hall and a Drunk Driving arrest. Oh for those of you that might wonder even if your'e the mayor asking the State Patrol Officer that is arresting you for oral gratification is not a good idea. After the last incident the mayor in question announced he would not be seeking re-election. That puts him one up over a Tennessee Sheriff that didn't think the US Marshall arresting him and hauling him down to Memphis and charging him with "conspiracy to deprive and inmate of his constitutional rights" would effect his chances of re-election.
