I'm about finished rewiring my '58 641 and I really don't like having the battery with the post towards the front of the tractor. It puts that positive post really close to the fuel line that runs around the gas tank and over to the carb side.
I was wondering if anyone else turned the battery around with the post towards the back and ran a longer cable to the solenoid?
That's what I have in mind. I was wondering if there were any cons to that idea that I haven't thought of.
