cutting down a 12" soft maple yesterday in Iowa, the stump bubbled with water, the limbing towards the 35 foot height, actually squirted water on me. I have been painting undiluted RoundUp on stumps trying to stop growth and kill roots prior to tiling, but think I'll wait a few weeks for that. Leo
